Placegar – Gestão de Estacionamentos, SA., registered at the Cascais Commercial Registry Office, with the unique registration and corporate entity number 506 696 642, with a share capital of €739,900 (seven hundred and thirty-nine thousand, nine hundred euros), and headquartered at Av. Marginal 8648 B, 2750-427 Cascais (Placegar), is the operating holding company of the Placegar Group, hereinafter referred to as PLACEGAR or GPlacegar.

This Data Protection Policy applies to GPlacegar.

Placegar, on its own behalf and on behalf of its subsidiaries, hereby clarifies that in the course of its activities, it uses a set of technologies and security procedures appropriate for the protection of your personal data, in compliance with applicable legislation in force, and specifically with the provisions of the General Data Protection Regulation – ‘Regulation (EU) 2016/679 of the European Parliament and of the Council of 27/04/2016’ – which establishes rules relating to the protection of natural persons with regard to the processing of personal data and the free movement of such data.

It further clarifies that the data requested and provided, within the scope of contractual relations and for the purposes of executing contracts and/or complying with legal obligations, such as the full name or company name, tax identification number, address or registered office, telephone/mobile phone number, email address, vehicle registration number, or electronic identifiers, will be processed lawfully, fairly and transparently and will be used solely for the performance of the contractual relationship and compliance with the law, namely for the purpose of issuing invoices or any necessary accounting and administrative management documents.

Personal data is stored on secure networks, which can only be accessed by a limited number of people who have special access rights and are committed to respecting and maintaining the confidential nature of the data.

The data will be processed and stored for the period strictly necessary, both from an operational and legal point of view, i.e. only for the period necessary for processing, in accordance with the respective purpose, which includes the preservation of the data for the entire duration of the contractual relationship and also for the period necessary to comply with the legal limitation periods, including the current period of 10 years required by the law in force for compliance with the accounting and tax obligation to file documentation.

PLACEGAR allows you, in accordance with current legislation, to access and control the data necessary for the fulfilment of legal or contractual obligations, ensuring your right to rectify the personal data provided and, with the inherent consequences, the right to have it deleted, in the customer area of the PLACEGAR website at www.placegar.com.

With regard to data collected and processed on the basis of consent given, you are also guaranteed the right to withdraw this consent in the aforementioned customer area, without compromising the validity of the data processing carried out up to that point.

In the customer area, PLACEGAR also guarantees you the right to obtain:

– information about your data;

– information about processing;

– information regarding the purpose underlying the processing;

– correction or updating of data.

The communication of your data, provided that it is necessary for the contractual relationship or compliance with the law, constitutes a contractual or legal obligation. We therefore stress the importance of keeping the data provided up to date and inform you that any future exercise of rights relating to the processing of your personal data must also be processed in your customer area and in the manner described above.

It is further clarified that the foregoing does not preclude or limit the application of other Data Protection Policies that may be applicable on a case-by-case basis due to the nature of the contracts underlying the activity performed, particularly in the case of municipal concessions, where data is collected and processed by GPlacegar on behalf of the corresponding Granting Municipality.
