This Data Protection Policy concerns GPlacegar.
Placegar, on its own behalf and on behalf of its subsidiaries, would like to clarify that in carrying out its activities, it uses a set of technologies and security procedures suitable for protecting your personal data, complying with the applicable legislation in force, and specifically with the provisions of the General Data Protection Regulation - "Regulation (EU) 2016/679 of the European Parliament and of the Council of 27/04/2016" - which establishes rules on the protection of natural persons with regard to the processing of personal data and the free movement of such data.
Further clarifies that the data requested and provided, within the scope of contractual relations and for the purposes of executing contracts and/or complying with legal obligations, such as the full name or company name, tax identification number, address or registered office, telephone/mobile phone, e-mail, vehicle registration number, or electronic identifiers, will be treated lawfully, fairly and transparently and will only be used for the purposes of executing the contractual relationship and complying with the law, namely for the purposes of issuing invoices or any accounting and administrative documents required.
Personal data is stored on secure networks, which can only be accessed by a limited number of people who have special access rights and undertake to respect and maintain the confidential nature of the data.
The data will be processed and stored for as long as is strictly necessary, both from an operational and legal point of view, i.e. only for the period necessary for processing, in accordance with the respective purpose, which includes preserving them for the entire duration of the contractual relationship and also for the period necessary to comply with the legal limitation periods, including the current 10-year period required by the law in force for compliance with the accounting-tax obligation to archive documentation.
Under the terms of the legislation in force, PLACEGAR provides you with access to and control of the data indispensable for the fulfilment of legal or contractual obligations, guaranteeing you the right to rectification of the personal data provided and, with the inherent consequences, the right to its erasure, in the customer area of the PLACEGAR website, at www.placegar.com.
With regard to data collected and processed on the basis of consent given, you are guaranteed the right to withdraw that consent, also in the customer area, without jeopardising the validity of the data processing carried out up to that point.
In the customer area, PLACEGAR also guarantees you the right to obtain:
- information about your data;
- information about processing;
- information on the underlying purpose of the processing;
- correcting or updating data.
The communication of your data, insofar as it is necessary for the contractual relationship or to comply with the law, constitutes a contractual or legal obligation. We therefore emphasise the importance of keeping the data provided up to date and inform you that any future exercise of rights relating to the processing of your personal data must also be processed in your customer area and in the aforementioned manner.
It should also be clarified that all of the above does not preclude or limit the application of the other Data Protection Policies applicable on a case-by-case basis due to the nature of the contracts underlying the activity carried out, particularly in the case of municipal concessions, where the data is collected and processed by GPlacegar on behalf of the corresponding Granting Municipality.
